Responsibilities include assisting Jailer and Fiscal Court with development of budget (3.3 Million), draft and revise policy and procedures, handling of personnel issues and litigation, oversee litigation of all kinds related to facility, supervision of sworn and civilian staff, daily operations of jail holding an average of 245 inmates, development of plans for jail expansion for restricted custody center and secure beds, and other administrative and operational duties as required.

Prosecute various types of cases in Campbell District Court and in Juvenile Court. Representative for Office of County Attorney in the creation of and worked with the Juvenile Drug Court Program.

Interim Jailer, Campbell County Detention Center
Appointed to this position by Judge / Executive Ken Paul to fill un-expired term of current Jailer. Responsibilities include daily operations of jail housing between 180 to 200+ inmates, supervision of thirty-five sworn deputies, four civilian persons, budget of $1.88 Million Dollars, other administrative and deputy duties as needed. While in this position the pay structure for all personnel was revised, the office automated, creation and hiring of office manager, computerization of booking and inmate control, introduction of new commissary system and introduction of new guidelines and training.

Executive Director of Northern Kentucky Drug Strike Force
This is a multi-jurisdictional law enforcement agency with primary duties involving the investigation and prosecution of illegal narcotics and dangerous drug offenses and related criminal activities. Duties included supervision of six to eight sworn officers and one civilian, drafting annual budget and grant (last budget approximately $350,000.00), liaison with local, state and federal law enforcement and prosecutors, drafting of policy and procedure, handling of seizures and forfeitures and liaison with the Board of Directors.

Served approximately five years as road trooper, approximately seven years as detective in the Special Investigations/Narcotics Branch, served three years as Legal Officer (1.5 yrs. as Commander of the Legal Office), served on the Special Response Team, was Chairman of the State Police Legal Fund, served on Board of Directors for Trooper Island Boys and Girls Camp (legal officer), and as outside work served as legal counsel for the Kentucky State Police Professional Association.
